I put a couple of flights on the model today. The motor seems to be putting out good power now. I put some stress on the helicopter and it seemed to take it well. I did side tic-tocs, vertical tic-tocs, and 4 point tic-tocs without a problem. Through most of the maneuvers I would punch the collective to stress the blades a lot more and still it held up well. It flew very stable and tracked pretty well.

My choice was your heli 2 years ago after I found a video that showed it performing mild 3D. I was looking for a stable heli that I could advance in. Well I got it and to my suprise I got so much more than I could imagine at the time.

I love it. This heli does rolls and flips QUICK ! I have 8 degrees cyclic pitch and it is just insane. Straight line high speed stability is also very very good. My tic tocs have never looked so crisp and powerful. I'm kicking myself at how long it took me to fly it. this thing is awesome.

Why doesn't everyone own at least one Pantera? NO FREAKING CLUE! I’ve flown 20 gallons of fuel through my P6 without mechanical failure. I’m still amazed how smoothly this heli flies. No twitchy mind of its own, just a very comfortable feeling helicopter that locks itself in. If you’ve ever flown a pattern plane low on the deck the full length of the field without it bobbing, rocking, or crabbing . . . just straight as an arrow for like an eternity - that’s how it feels.

The 3D paddles combined with Bell-Hiller adjustment from sport 1:1 to a 3D friendly .7:1 ratio (adjusted at the seesaw) works great. I had to add -30% expo to get it under control. Now stationary flips and rolls are within its own space. I really like the power to weight ratio of the model. And it climbs quick . . . I bet I could beat a bottle rocket!

Just flew out another tank of fuel. You've created a monster!

I got a couple flights on it yesterday, and had some real problems getting my engine to run right after putting the snorkel on. Wasn't the snorkel's fault, it was my crappy fuel. Today I went back out with a fresh jug of 30%, and it ran like a champ. I also increased my cyclic throws to the max, and the flybar carrier is just short of touching the blade grips. Wind was 15 gusting to 25, and it flew awesome, very fast, extremely powerful, and agile. Autoed forever, I did a couple of inverted autos with it, one with a roll out, and one a push over, with no problem. This is an awesome heli. This is easily the best 600-class I've flown.

After my first 2 tanks, I knew this was a winner. There is no comparison to
the other helis I currently own, and have helped set up.

She flies like a demon possessed. I'm impressed. Lots of interest at the field's on this machine in the Bay area.

I just got back from the field where I flew the crap out of the model for the first real time. Once I got it adjusted right it was ROCK AND ROLL baby.

The Pantera flies solid. Tracks well, and is stable. The flip rate is up as I gave it more for/aft through.
Thank's

Just went out and enjoyed the unseasonably warm Missouri winter weather, and flew a few tanks of gas through the model, and the more I fly it, I like it!

"HOLY SHIT, IT IS FREAKING INSANE!" (Big evil grin). There are now two Pantera flying in the Tampa area. Mine and my buddy Rich's.

I've been flying helis for less than 2 years and this has been a great machine.

Hi, have 20 flights and it flies beautifully. Broke the landing gear on a failed autorotation. Nice model.

My Pantera is complete! From the little flying I have done, it is silky smooth and very responsive to stick input!

I've got a brand new engine that I am breaking in and can't wait to finish engine break-in and get my settings tweaked on this bad boy... I think it will definitely help my skills progress!

I had a good day at the field, Pantera flew very well, my friend was impressed. I need to do a few more tweaks to get what I consider perfect, I'm very picky when it comes to setup, I don't settle for "good". I am going to try a longer flybar, and I need to change my gyro settings because it was last setup for a torque tube and carbon tail blades. Easy fix.

Thanks again for providing support and producing a Fantastic air frame I believe I will sell my Align TREX600 Nitro and buy another Pantera.

I'm impressed with it, especially the autos! I noted that the woodies were dead on CG and weight.

The RNFBL install was extraordinarily simple, and cost was nill. Used an BeastX FBL unit. It flew perfect with stock settings. I do think you should offer a FBL-ready head for the hard core pilots - just my 2 cents. I think a purpose built setup might work better for the hard core pilots out there. I did my first (crappy looking) tic-tocs today, love my Pantera. Thanks for putting out a good product and more importantly standing behind it.

After many years, your product is still my heli of choice. I am 58 years old, and got tired of repairing and spending money on helis. I have one Pantera flying (I only hover, but another guy flies it), I have a lightly crashed spare, and two new in the box Panteras in waiting. I think you have the best heli to work on. I prefer the engineered plastic over carbon fiber any day. Everyone has to learn on something, and a few of us still want to master scale flying, without all the 3D. I have not tried RNFBL yet, mine still has the flybar. I don't want to get into a lot of computer programming on FBL units. Thanks for your efforts in the hobby.

I was going to say this a while ago, but better late than never. The RNFBL conversion for me worked really well. I followed the instructions posted on your website and it came up into the hover on the 1st attempt without any drama. Used a BeastX controller and it was straight forward to set up. Seen the servos on your website and they look kind of cool for the money so I may be back in the near future with another order.

I did the RNFBL and converted the Pantera to flybarless. It worked out well. This was my first flybarless attempt so there was a learning curve but it worked. My issues have been more about learning to program the flybarless unit than the kit. The helicopter build went very well, I didn't have any major issues, and it flies wonderfully. Thanks for a great product.

I'm new to helis but also fly SPA Pattern with Chris Gregory who is an expert pilot (I was asking him for advice). Anyway, I have really caught the bug and love everything about this model.

I converted my Pantera to FBL and installed an Align gyro. I fly in the Arizona desert and consider the air filter a must-have when flying off the ground out here. Oh, and it hovers great!

I work part time in a local hobby shop. Customer asked about a heli good for learning that would grow with him. Told him, 'We don't offer what you need because they're direct only.' Mentioned adding a Pantera to my Goblin and TREX fleet, last year. Then I pulled out the coffee filter in which I'd washed the engine's air filter (using the dregs from the first gallon ever through the engine). I've been so blown away I kept it and show it to everybody because engines aren't cheap. But the kicker is it's much easier to work on than carbon fiber helicopters. Like removing the engine involves fuel line, throttle linkage, 2 exhaust bolts, plus 4-bolts holding the mount. But with a TREX, there's also 4 landing gear bolts (means laying the model on its side), plus the bottom brackets, and screws for the fan shroud. So because I'm not rich, something had to go and I sold the TREX 600. My Goblin's now gone, also, and it's just my Pantera because it flies great and is much easier to live with than any carbon fiber model I've ever had. Sorry for being long winded.
